MY STORY
I am an experienced Chartered Clinical and Coaching Psychologist, dedicated to helping people successfully navigate life’s challenges. Using a unique combination of psychological therapy and coaching techniques, I will help you recover from threats and challenges and get your life back on track.
With over 20 years experience managing a psychological therapies team in the NHS and in private practice since 2009, I have transformed the lives of 1000s of clients struggling with complex and chronic mental health problems.
As co-founder of ULTIMATE RESILIENCE Ltd in 2013, I have brought the psychological know-how to manage stress and build resilience into the workplace, helping businesses support employee mental health and resilience through multi-award winning training, coaching and supervision.

With over 25 years of experience in the NHS and with businesses since 2013, I offer a personalised and compassionate therapeutic approach aimed at supporing professionals who are burnt out and struggling to function.
Uniquely I employ models and methods drawn from both clinical psychology and coaching psychology to help move clients towards their mental health and resilience goals.
All my work is guided by principles of trust, scientific evidence and ethical practice. You can be sure that I will work with you using tried and tested psychological techniques that have been shown to work.
Drawing on my own personal journey of living with a long-term condition, I know what it takes to overcome adverse life events and bounce back, and I am committed to helping others do the same.

Associate Fellow of the BPS
Having completed my training in Clinical Psychology in 1996, and worked for over 20 years in the NHS, I a Chartered Psychologist and am recognised as Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
In 2024 I successfully completed the BPS's rigourous assessment process to also achieve accreditation and professional registration as a Coaching Psychologist.
Contribution to research
Contributing to the knowledge base in psychology is important to me. Through my work at Ultimate Resilience and as a recognised expert in the field, I have published research in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
I am author of the Skills-based Model of Personal Resilience and The Interpersonal Process Model of Organisational Resilience.
